It runs on Android 15 and uses the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. Let’s discuss more about the Infinix Note 50s, its full specifications, features and expected price of the Infinix Note 50s in USA.

Infinix Note 50s Introduction

Design and Display

Infinix Note 50s features a slim and sleek design with dimensions of 164.3 x 74.5 x 7.6 mm and a weight of 180 grams. The back side has RGB notification lighting and is enhanced with scent micro encapsulation technology that lasts up to six months. The body is MIL-STD-810H compliant and IP64 rated to resist dust and water splashes. It is available in Marine Blue, Titanium Grey and Ruby Red color options.

The display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel that supports 1 billion colors. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels which gives around 393 ppi density. The screen-to-body ratio is 89.8%. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate and 2304Hz PWM dimming. It reaches a peak brightness of 1300 nits which helps in bright outdoor visibility. It easily supports 4K HDR on YouTube and FHD streaming on Netflix and prime Video with HDR support. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen shows vivid colors under any lighting condition.

Performance and Software

Infinix Note 50s runs on the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset built on a 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU with 4 Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The GPU is Mali-G615 MC2 which handles everyday graphics processing smoothly. The device is well-optimized for daily tasks like browsing, social media use and streaming. The phone storage is up to 256GB UFS2.2 and RAM is up to 8GB LPDDR5X (flagship).

It ships with Android 15 out of the box and will receive up to 2 major Android upgrades. The custom skin is XOS 15 that supports customization and a smooth UI experience with a lot of animation, transition and effects. It has under-display fingerprint unlocking and includes sensors like gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. The software has support for bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming and long usage. The system performs consistently without thermal issues.

Camera

Infinix Note 50s camera is a dual rear camera setup with Gem-Cut Camera Module having Active Halo Lighting. The primary camera is a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 0.8µm pixel size. Remember, the main camera doesn’t support OIS. The secondary 2MP camera adds depth assistance. The rear camera supports dual-LED flash, HDR and panorama. It captures video at 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps. The lenses are non-retractable and do not include optical image stabilization.

The front camera includes a 13MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. It supports 4K and 1080p video recording at 30fps. The selfie images come out clear in daylight and are suitable for video calls. The camera app is optimized for quick focus and features natural color reproduction. The Sony sensor delivers reliable results in well-lit environments without overprocessing. There is no telephoto or ultrawide lens included.

Battery and Other Features

Infinix Note 50s features a 5500mAh Si/C non-removable battery. It lasts easily for one day with average usage. The phone supports 45W wired charging that can fully charge the battery in 70 minutes. It also includes 10W reverse wired charging for charging other devices and has a bypass charging feature. Battery performance is consistent with average screen-on time under regular usage.

Additional features include stereo speakers tuned by JBL that offer 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio output. It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack and the vibration motor is just below average. So, I think, you should keep it off. Ok, connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and dual Nano-SIM support. The phone does not support NFC but includes an infrared port and FM radio. The under-display fingerprint sensor is optical. The USB Type-C port supports OTG 2.0 functionality.

AI-related features are huge and are everywhere inside the Infinix Note 50s. For example, it has Circle to Search, AI live calling translation and recording, AI summary, AI Writer, AI assistant, AI Gallery, AI Image Eraser, AI Sky, AI Image/Wallpaper Generator and many more, crazy. Can you imagine – these AI features are truly flagship and we generally see them in the premium smartphone costing more than $500 USD but Infinix has provided them within just $215 USD with all those big battery, flagship display, flagship sound and good Sony camera, OMG, this is really crazy. Hat’s off, Infinix.
